We’re Supporting Something That Matters

Ark Kovcheg Business Conference Sponsor Ervins Studio Oleg Tinkov

This week, we're doing something a bit different.

Ervins Puksts Studio is now an official sponsor of
Ark.Business (Kovcheg Business) — an international conference for entrepreneurs in exile and those building new ventures abroad.

If you haven’t heard of it before, Ark.Business is a non-profit initiative creating space for founders, freelancers, and business people who’ve found themselves outside their home countries - some by choice, some by circumstance.

It’s not about trends or startup hype. It’s about the real stuff: figuring things out in a new environment, building from scratch, and learning how to adapt when everything’s unfamiliar.

Why this matters to us

This hits close to home.

We moved to the UK almost a decade ago. Since then, we’ve gone through the whole journey: from getting any job that pays the rent, to learning the system, starting over professionally, and eventually launching Ervins Studio. And we know firsthand how important it is to find community and context when you're out of your comfort zone.

That’s why sponsoring Ark.Business made sense.

This conference isn’t just a three-day event - it’s a space where people like us share experiences, ask questions, and try to figure out what sustainable business looks like when you're building it from abroad.

What’s happening at the conference

April 22–24, 2025
Online event

The conference is officially called the Second International Online Conference “Ark Business.Networks”, and the line-up is actually impressive.

A few highlights:

  • Oleg Tinkov — founder of Tinkoff Bank, sharing thoughts on global adaptation, market entry, and personal transformation.
  • Ivan Maryasin — co-founder of Monite, featured in Forbes “30 Under 30”. He’ll talk about raising funding, navigating U.S. vs. EU startup scenes, and more.
  • Plus speakers like Vera Tarasova (Cider & Squash), Vlad Pinsky (Intermigro), Lera Kraval (Steadfast), and a bunch of others from across Europe.

Full list here → https://kovcheg.business/en/russian-business-in-serbia-opportunities-and-challenges/#speakers

We’ll be there. Listening, learning, maybe sharing a little too.

See you at Ark (Kovcheg)

Getting featured in the press sounds like something only big brands can achieve. But in reality, even a small business can land PR backlinks and media mentions - you just need to know where to look. One of the easiest ways is through tools like HARO (Help a Reporter Out) and its alternatives. These platforms connect journalists who need expert insights with business owners, entrepreneurs, and professionals like you. The result? Exposure, credibility, and high-quality backlinks from trusted media sites.

Quick Answer (60 seconds) One of the easiest ways to get high-quality backlinks - without cold emails, spammy directories, or spending money - is to reach out to the tools and platforms you already use in your business. Many SaaS companies (task managers, CRMs, design tools, proposal software, etc.) publish customer case studies or success stories. If you share how their product helped your business, they’ll often feature you on their site - and (hopefully) give you a do-follow backlink.
